Booking and payment
Pre-enrolment involves no commitment to pay. Enrolment is confirmed when the student accepts the proposed plan and price and pays through the link provided, which is processed by Stripe Payments Europe, Ltd. David González does not store card details. Language lessons are exempt from VAT under Spanish law (art. 20.Uno.10.º of Law 37/1992); proofreading and translation services are subject to VAT.
Cancellations and refunds
Groups are paid monthly, at the start of each month. To leave, give notice at least ten calendar days before the following month starts; otherwise that month's fee is due. Each student is entitled to eight hours of group lessons a month (four two-hour lessons); months with fewer teaching days because of public holidays are balanced out with other months. Lessons falling on Spanish national or Galician public holidays are not made up; holidays in other regions or countries count as normal teaching days. If a student is left alone in their group, they can switch to another group with places, take four 60-minute one-to-one lessons that month, or get a full or partial refund depending on the lessons already given. Continued unjustified absence may mean losing the place if there is a waiting list.
